留学生项目简介

　　Since 2008, with the support of China Scholarship Council and the Ministry of Commerce of China, the College of Humanities and Development Studies started the International Master and Doctor Program on “International Development Studies”. This program equips the students with the international perspectives and the advanced approaches to development research and management, and knowledge on China’s development models and experiences, and educates high-end and inter-disciplinary talent working in the applied and research fields. This program integrates the theories with practices, integrates teaching with the practices, builds up a student-friendly environment and provides students with the opportunities of practices, and encourages the independent and innovative thinking.
　　By the end of 2015, this program has recruited 133 international students (48 doctoral students and 85 Master students), from 43 different countries. Most of them are from developing countries. Twenty-three students have got Doctor Degrees and 44 have got Master Degrees. These international students are working in governments, universities, scientific research institutes, and non-profit organizations after they went back to their homeland. They have become the backbones of their organizations and this program has generated good social impact.
　　The target applicants of this program are government officials and the leaders of colleges and universities. The applicants need to have excellent academic performance, have bachelor's degrees for Mater program and Master degrees for Doctor program, and have good university grades. We will give priority to those people with the academic background related to humanities and social sciences, and with the work experience in the field of development. The program is taught in English so that the applicants should be proficient in English to complete the study of courses and the thesis writing.
　　
　　在中国国家留学生基金委和商务部的支持下，中国农业大学人文与发展学院自2008年起启动了“国际发展研究”专业留学生硕士和博士项目。该专业旨在培养具有国际视角、掌握先进发展管理方法和研究方法、了解中国发展模式和经验的研究和管理的高层次研究型和应用型人才。本专业在培养过程中重视理论与实际结合、教学与实践结合，努力为学生营造宽松的人文氛围和实践机会，鼓励学生独立思考、勇于创新。
　　截止2015年，该专业共招收了133名留学生（48博士生，85硕士生），来自43个不同国家；已毕业23名博士留学生，44名硕士留学生。这些留学生学成回国后，广泛分布在政府、高校、科研和非盈利组织，成为各机构的骨干，产生了良好的社会影响。
　　该项目的招生对象为发展中国家的政府官员和学术机构负责人。申请硕士需有本科学位，申请博士需要有硕士学位, 并且成绩优良。我们优先录取那些拥有人文学科学业背景和有与发展相关领域工作经验的申请者。本项目用英语授课，申请人需要拥有足够的英语能力来完成相关课程的学习及论文的写作。
